Game made for the GMTK Game Jam 2024 , with the theme "Built to Scale"

What weapon would size percfectly a mouse? What? Mice don't use weapons?

Well, these two little boys do, and their weapon is...

HUGE!

A traditional shooter where TWO mice try to move and use a gun FIVE times bigger and heavier than both of them, with teamwork and friendshi... nah just teamwork i guess.

Protect the cheese from the rats as long as you can!

Yeah that's right, you don't need a mouse to play this game about mice!

💡 THEME INTERPRETATION: 💡

I interpreted the theme as a synonym of "Custom-made", "Something made perfectly in size to fit someone or something", but I made it the exact opposite: Not built to scale. And so i came up with the idea of a shooter game, where the weapon is so big, it needs two characters to be moved around and used, and what better characters than two cute mice? The game also fits with the much simpler theme's interpretation "sizes and dimensions" because of its ambiance, taking place in a house wich looks enormous to the small protagonists, where even a mouse trap looks as big as a car!

I also added the CHEEESEEEEE🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀
